week 12 predicts

This is the first week I'm doing this so I might not be good at this.

First off, I think that the Ravens, with a record of 6-4-0, will beat the Eagles, who have a record of 5-4-1. (The Eagles played the Bengals last week and tied them, which was the first tie since 2002.) I don't think that this will be a blowout though.

Now even though the Texans are 3-7-0 I think they will beat the 4-6-0 Browns.

(Now this game I do think will be a blowout) This game is the 7-3-0 Bucs (which is actually pretty good for the Bucs) who I think will beat the 0-10-0 Lions. I just can't believe how good the Bucs are this year and for the Lions, well, they always seem to stink.

Now here is another surprising team, the Bills who usually worse than the lions are 5-5-0 and I think that the Bills will beat the 1-9-0 Chiefs who I'm surprised are doing so badly with some of the players they have.

Next off, I think that the 5-5-0 Bears will beat the 2-8-0 Rams but I'm not to sure about that based on how Grossman has played in the past two weeks. Although Orton's ankle is lowering his mobility so I don't know who would be better.

Now here is a game that people may not agree with me, but I think that the
7-3-0 Jets will beat the 10-0-0 Titans. I don't know why I think this, I just do.

Here is a game that I'm not to sure about but I think that the 6-4-0 Dolphins will beat the 6-4-0 Patriots. Now I may have thought differently if Brady wasn't injured but he is.

This game I think will be a pretty close game, but I think that the 5-5-0 Vikings will beat the 4-6-0 Jaguars. I think that Peterson will run all over the Jaguars.

This game I think will be a blowout. I think that the Cowboys who are 6-4-0 will totally beat the 49ers who are 3-7-0. The 49ers may get lucky if Romo doesn't play well but I think he'll play a little bit better then usual. I mean he did just come off the injured list so I'm not too sure.

I predict that the 6-4-0 Broncos will beat the 2-8-0 Raiders.

I really think that the Panthers who are 8-2-0 will clobber the 6-4-0 Falcons.

This is another game that I think will be close but I think that the 9-1-0 Giants will beat the 7-3-0 Cardinals.

Now this game most people will just think oh, well the Redskins are 6-4-0 and the Seahawks are only 2-8-0 so the Redskins will totally win but I really think that the Seahawks will win.

I think the 6-4-0 Colts won't be able to lay a finger on Tomilson and the 4-6-0 Chargers.

Last but not least, when the 5-5-0 Packers face the 4-6-0 Saints I think Bush will run all over the Packers defense and lead them to victory over the Packers.

Titans 9-0!

I just can not believe that the Titans are still undefeated.

The Titans beat the Bears last Sunday with a score of 21-14 but Rex Grossman was playing. We probably would have won if Orton wasn't injured. I sure hope he will be able to return next week to beat the Packers.

During the game I was so excited when the only person between Hester and the end zone was the kicker. Hester just runs out of bounds! What? It was the KICKER.

I only think that the Titans will stay undefeated for one more week because in two weeks they play the Jets. However, I think that the Jets will only win by a few points.

Titans 8-0

Wow! I never would have thought that the Titans would ever be this good but I guess I was wrong. Yesterday the Titans beat the Green Bay Packers 19-16 with a 41-yard field goal by Rob Bironas in over time, to become 8-0, but they never would have even even needed go into over time because with four seconds left Rob Bironas kicked a 47-yard field goal that bounced of the goal post. In over time the Titans won the toss and had a 55-yard drive and then kicked a 41-yard field goal to beat the Packers 19-16.

I'm not too happy about the Bears having to play the Titans this coming Sunday but then again it would be awesome to clobber them.

Phills Win a Historic World Series

Phills win a historic World Series and the reason I say historic is because game five was suspended for two days which has never been done before. The commissioner said that he didn't think that the World Series should ever be cancelled. He said it should be the full nine innings.

Cole Hamels who I mentioned before is also the first person to get the MVP trophy with a suspended game in the World Series.

Devin Hester Injured

Chicago Bears kick returner and wide receiver Devin Hester injured a quadricep muscle in the third quarter Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings and had to leave the game.

Hester had 11 kickoffs returned for TDs in his first two regular seasons, seven of which were kickoffs but four of those were punts not including his fastest TD in a super bowl opening kickoff and his missed field goal for a 108-yard TD. Just because he doesn't have any this season doesn't mean he's not doing well because every one is squib kicking but hopefully he will return soon because those squib kicks are really helping us with the Field position.

Romo's injury puts Dallas under the hands of Brad Johnson

Tony Romo it looks like broke his pinkie finger on his throwing hand hoping to return by week eleven to face the Washington Redskins but for now they hope 17-year veteran Brad Johnson can lead them to many victories.

Titans 5-0 after QB Collins bests Ravens in fourth quarter

Facing a rugged Baltimore Ravens defense that still conjures unpleasant memories, Kerry Collins trotted onto the field needing to mount an 80-yard touchdown drive to keep the Tennessee Titans unbeaten.

His first big play was to get hit in the helmet. Soon after that, Collins threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Alge Crumpler with 1:56 left to rally Tennessee to a 13-10 victory Sunday.

The last time he started against the Ravens, Collins was thoroughly ineffective for the New York Giants in a 34-7 loss in the 2001 Super Bowl. This win didn't serve as revenge, but it sure helped ease the pain of that humbling setback.

The Titans trailed 10-6 in the fourth quarter before Collins engineered the pivotal 11-play scoring drive. The march was extended by a penalty against Baltimore's Terrell Suggs, who was flagged for a blow to Collins' helmet -- although the hit appeared to be little more than incidental contact.

It was the last of several personal foul calls in a game marred by numerous skirmishes. Tennessee was penalized 10 times for 78 yards, including a pair of 15-yard infractions that fueled both Baltimore's scoring drives.

The Ravens (2-2) were assessed 11 penalties for 91 yards in a matchup between two teams that once were, and seem to still be, bitter rivals.

The third-and-10 play began with a false start call against Tennessee, but play continued and Suggs' hit trumped the 5-yard penalty against the Titans.

Collins threw an incomplete pass on the play, but was provided with a new set of downs and coolly directed Tennessee into the end zone.

Frustrated by Baltimore's top-ranked defense for much of the game, Collins finished 17-for-32 for 163 yards and two interceptions.

After Tennessee went up 13-10, Baltimore rookie quarterback Joe Flacco was intercepted by Nick Harper, assuring the Ravens a second straight defeat.

Flacco, who went 18-for-27 for 153 yards and two interceptions, was 10 years old when Collins launched his NFL career in 1995.

The Ravens took a 10-3 lead with a 71-yard touchdown drive at the start of the second half. Flacco threw a 22-yard pass to Demetrius Williams and the Titans received two personal foul penalties before Le'Ron McClain scored from the 1. Tennessee also received a 15-yard penalty on the conversion.

It was the first points scored in the third quarter against the Titans this season.
Tennessee closed to 10-6 with 12:49 left when Rob Bironas kicked a 26-yard field goal to end a 13-play, 81-yard drive that featured three completions to Brandon Jones for 54 yards.

The Titans made only four first downs and 68 yards in a penalty-filled first half, which ended 3-3.

Big Z's no hitter

Big Z (Carlos Zambrano) is the first Cub's pitcher since Milt Pappas, 36 years ago, to throw a no hitter. Milt Pappas's historic game took place on September 2, 1972, when the Cubs won 8-0.

Big Z had ten strike outs, a walk, and a hit batter. The last pitch seemed to be in the dirt and a foot outside. With the last swing of the batter, Zambrano entered the record books.

What a game!

The Bears New Running Back

Matt Forte is the first Bears' rookie running back to start a regular season opener since Walter Payton in 1975. Payton got zero yards on eight carries, a far different story from Forte's 123 yards and one TD on 23 carries.

He followed up this week with another great game. Looking forward to more as he sits in third in the league for rushing yards.

Instant replay homerun camera finally used in the MLB

They finally used the homerun camera!

I don’t really think they needed it though because if the ball bounces off the foul pole it’s ruled a home run. And if the ball is back on the field it must have bounced off the pole, right?

The new homerun cameras.

Just wondering if anbody has heard about the new homerun cameras they're trying out in the MLB today. I don't think it's right it seems like it's turning into football.
If anbody has an idea for a topic to discuss please post a comment.

Bears starting quarterback

Lovie Smith chose Kyle Orton over Rex Grossman but the problem with Orton is that he hardly ever throws the ball even though Grossman throws a lot of interceptions he at least throws the ball.
I am not sure what I would have done but I think I would look at the other teams stats to decide if the other team was strong against the run I would put in Grossman and if a team converted a bunch of interceptions but couldn’t stop the run I would put in Orton.

If you were Lovie Smith what would you have done? Post a comment.

If you have any questions, post a comment.

Brett Favre and why he got traded.

I think he got traded because, I mean if they kept him he would play what only one year, then Aaron Rodgers would just quit and then they would have no quarterback.

That was just what I thought, what do you think post a comment
